Rain / The PSP Nation Takes Over NYC Subway
Current mood: crappy
This Thursday TPN took over the NYC Subway. It was a wonderful meetup. I had a golden shower of Mc D's fries and almost broke my PSP. Remember, PSP straps saves lives! [TPN Wrap up below]
After the meetup I met with gary at his dad's club. I got friggin' soaked from the downpour and flash flooding. Friday was an adventure to work. At 4:30 pm I arrived to the train from the bus to hear that no trains were going to Manhattan due to flooding. As an alternative I had to take the Q60 which leaves me 2 blocks from my job. The cross street had a river of water, 1 car lane wide. I jumped in it, and soaked my work sneakers and pants. On the plus side, I got on the bus and had a seat. The ride across Queens Blvd. to my job was 2 hrs long. I didn't get to work until 6:30. People need to get in and out of Manhattan. Because of this there was chaos and mobs of angry people. It was quite a ride. The only thing I regret was working in soaked sneakers.
Going "home" from work was not bad. Most of the trains were running fairly normal. I spent the night at Gary's, in preparation of our day trip. By 7:30 am on Saturday we were out of the house and into our bus. Gary's mom Rosita, Candice, Anthony, and many others joined us. Rosita is such a sweetie. She bought us all breakfast before most of us had woken up. The trip went well. Gary bought alot of clothes. I was able to get 1 pair of capris and some socks. I got a few other things, including plastic shot glasses for the party.
Luckily, I didn't get caught in the rain on Saturday. However, now I feel sick. It could have been from two days of being soaked. Perhaps my sister took part in having the AC and the fan on while I slept. Either way, now I have a running nose and I feel tired and crappy.

This is the PSP wrap up from The PSP Nation. Written by Hector (Purist.) I was tired last night and couldn't read it. He spent 3 hrs writing this so I made the article into a JPG so I can read on the PSP.
AMNY wrote a negative blurb about the event. What a bunch of snobs. âThere was an air of annoyance beginning to fill the train, but the group appeared oblivious to it all,â Martinez wrote. That doesn't sound like Hector. WTF... Stupid paper.
