Current mood: pleased

It was such a lovely day. Today I spent most of my day in Chinatown with Gary and Candice. Gary bleached and dyed his beard green. It looks really cool. I wish I took some pics. Before Gary and Candice came I did alot of shopping.

First stop was Elizabeth Center. One of the shops made me a personalized cell phone strap and wrist strap for my PSP. It says "Izzy" and has a little bell on the end. Ironic that Izzy should follow a real bell. Amazingly my PSP USB & Charger cable came in. I ordered it on Friday, expecting to receive it in 7-10 days from Hong Kong. Surprisingly it came in today.

Out of curiosity I checked out the toy store on the same block as Elizabeth Center. I found at least 7 figures that I MUST have from Kingdom Hearts 2, Naruto, and Final Fantasy Advent Children.

From there I ventured to the Anime basement where I sponatenously bought the movie Shinobi. I  heard it was really good, so I couldn't resist at $10. From there I went to the Asian Grocery store on Mulberry st. I bought some things for Crissy and CJ. Gary called and said he was on the crossing the bridge on the Q so I walked to the subway.

Gary, Candice, and I went to UniMax on Canal. They have a new "tennant" at the bottom of their stairs, selling fake designer bags. The little chinese guy opened a book to show a customer the real bag. To further prove himself he said "See, it looks the same!" The customer seemed convinced, but I am not sure if she bought the bag. Hysterical. Upstairs in UniMax Candice bought some 8 ga. plugs. I got a pair of 14 ga. captives for my ears, and beads for my tongue ring. Unfortunately, (after purchase) the beads did not fit on the barbell. Stupid lady lied to me. Gary picked out a 14 ga. black horeshoe spike earring for himself. Then he helped me put on the new captives. Isn't it purdy?

Candie had the Munchies, or at least Munchies on her mind. "Hey, I hear there's a Munchies here, but I don't know where." she said. I had never heard of it before, so I didn't know where it was. Just as I said that, I looked up and saw it on the block we were on. I have walked that street a billion times and never saw the place. They have samples of their Japanese treats throughout. I bought "Honey Rose" and "Strawberry Rose" dried fruit. Good stuff, but real sweet. Candice may have started a new habit for me.

We ate at Shanghai Resturant, then I dashed to work. As soon as I got home I opened the proc heatsinks and packed CJ's presents for delivery. I will mail them tomorrow CJ.
